• Active Voice adalah kalimat Aktif yang berisi Subject melakukan aksi atau tindakan.
• Passive Voice adalah kalimat Pasif yang berisi Object yang diberi aksi atau tindakan oleh Subject.
• Pola dasar Passive Voice adalah Be + V3

Mengubahnya menjadi kalimat Passive dengan menggunakan Rumus:

A. Present Tense

• Active: S + V1 (-s/es) + O
• Passive: O + Be (is/am/are) + V3 + By S

1. John collects money

• Money is collected by John

7. We clean our rooms

• Our rooms are not cleaned by us

B. Past Tense

➡️ Kalimat positif (+)

• Active: S + V2 + O
• Passive: O + Be (was/were) + V3 + By S

2. Anna opened the window

• The window was opened by Anna

6. The sheep ate something a lot

• Something was eaten by the sheep a lot

➡️ Kalimat interrogative (?)

• Active: Did + S + V1 + O?
• Passive: Be (was/were) + O + V3 + By S?

9. Sue drew the circle

• Was the circle drawn by Sue?

C. Present Perfect

• Active: S + has/have + V3 + O
• Passive: O + has/have + been + V3 + By S

3. We have done our homework

• Our homework has been done by us

D. Future Tense

➡️ Kalimat positif (+)

• Active: S + will + V1 + O
• Passive: O + will be + V3 + By S

4. I will ask a question

• A question will be asked by me

➡️ Kalimat negative (-)

• Active: S + will not + V1 + O
• Passive: O + will not + be + V3 + By S

8. William will not repair the car

• The car will not be repaired by William

E. Modal can

• Active: S + can + v1 + O
• Passive: O + can be + V3 + By S

5. He can cut out the picture

• The picture can be cut out by him

F. Past Future

• Active: should/could + S + V1 + O?
• Passive: Should/could + O + be + V3 + By S

10. Could you feed the dog?

• Could the dog be fed by you?
